How to write a formula that uses a dynamic row number (but not @row). — Smartsheet Community

Hi,

I need to be able to dynamically reference a row number in a formula (not using @row).

Simple baseline example for our discussion:

= [Task Name]1 + “-” + [Task Name]2

Result: First Task-Second Task

But I need to dynamically provide the “1” and “2” row indicators.

I have tried the following without success:

* Use the + to concatenate

* Use & to concatenate

How can I get this to work, please? There must be a trick, no?
