How to upgrade to Dropbox for macOS on File Provid…


I’ve recently purchased a new Macbook Pro (Apple M3 Pro, running MacOS 14.5) and installed Dropbox. However, it shows that I’m not eligible for the version on File Provider which causes me issues with accessing files that are only stored in the cloud. My other, older intel-based Macbook Pro with the same OS has everything working perfectly..

 

How to fix this? Why two devices on the same account are treated differently? Is there a way to force the upgrade?
