Preseason match number three is upon us, and we’re back in Atlanta for the second year running. This time it’s Liga MX champions Club América who await us — another team in better physical condition than us at the moment, which has been used as an excuse for some of our poor play this preseason thus far.
So let’s hope things go a little better today. It’s not about the result; it never is. But we need to start showing some coherence and quality both on and off the ball if we are to start engendering some confidence for the season ahead. We’re now more than halfway through preseason, the time for excuses is almost over.
Dewsbury-Hall makes his preseason debut. Not sure how the back four will line up. Enzo on the bench, as is Jörgensen.
