This Collection supports and amplifies research related to SDG 3 – Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
While digital health has promising potential to transform healthcare, it is subject to barriers, such as health-system readiness, user capabilities, acceptance and infrastructural limitedness, leading to health inequity. Such digital health inequities may lead to individual- and population-level health disparities.
With this Collection, the editors at Communications Health invite manuscripts that identify the heterogeneity in digital health equity, its origin, its association with determinants of health, in addition to strategies to measure and resolve inequity at different levels. Communications Health will consider original Articles, Reviews and Perspectives under this collection.
