Brentford are back in Premier League action at the Gtech Community Stadium when they face Arsenal in a London derby on Saturday, November 25.

The Bees host Mikel Arteta’s side in the late kick-off looking to avenge their 1-0 defeat to the Gunners in the EFL Cup third round back in September.

Thomas Frank’s side will be hoping to oversee a third consecutive league victory at home, in what has otherwise been an inconsistent campaign to date.

Brentford host Arsenal in the Premier League at Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, November 25.

Kick-off is 17.30 UK time, with live coverage on TNT Sports commencing at 16:45.

Ben Mee says Brentford were left to rue several missed chances in the first half against Liverpool, with the 3-0 scoreline perhaps a tad harsh on Thomas Frank’s side.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, he said: “We created chances in the first half. It feels like when you come to Anfield and you get chances, you need to take them. They are a top side but we were brave and were good on the counter-attack.

“They transition really well and have quality players so it’s always difficult.

“We have been in great form. There’s a good feeling around the place and there still is. We’ll have the break now and we have a big game against Arsenal coming up so we’ll look forward to that. We defended well for long periods and created chances ourselves.

“We are always competitive against big sides. We always want to come and win games. We always give it a go. We will continue to do that. We will see where we’re at and see where we go.”

Leandro Trossard has stepped up to the plate in recent weeks, amid Arsenal’s ongoing injury issues.

The Belgium international claimed a goal and an assist in the Gunners’ 3-1 win over Burnley last time out, and is the club’s joint-top scorer alongside Bukayo Saka, despite his limited game time.

He has started only three Premier League games so far this season, but scored three goals, adding two in the UEFA Champions League and another in the Community Shield win over Manchester City.

Arteta will hope to have skipper Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli – who came off injured in that win over the Clarets – all available for the trip to Brentford.

Given Trossard’s recent form, the 28-year-old would count himself unlucky if he drops down to the bench again.
