How to drag backlinks in a note without creating a copy – Help

What I’m trying to do

I am arranging groups of back links in a single note based on what they are related to – essentially a MOC. However, whenever I click and drag a link in the note, it creates a copy of the link and leaves the original in place.

I want to drag and drop links to re group them without creating a copy of the link.

So

heading 1

[[_Index_of_PhD Vault]]
[[_Index_of_Extras]]
[[_Index_of_Efforts]]

heading 2

---

I want to move [[_Index_of_Efforts]] to heading 2 by click and drag but the result is:

heading 1

[[_Index_of_PhD Vault]]
[[_Index_of_Extras]]
[[_Index_of_Efforts]]

heading 2

[[_Index_of_Efforts]]

and I want it to just:

heading 1

[[_Index_of_PhD Vault]]
[[_Index_of_Extras]]

heading 2

[[_Index_of_Efforts]]

Things I have tried

Simple cut and paste instead of drag and drop which is fine for 1 link or links next to each other but not when there are several links that are interspersed with each other. I’m not a whizz with tech I would show a picture but I cannot screen snip obsidian and I have no idea why (thats another bug!)
