How to Open Glowing Cracked Walls – Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Guide

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown features many types of barriers and roadblocks that prevent you from progessing to new areas until you’ve found the right upgrades. One such obstacle you can find early on are mysterious glowing cracked walls that cannot be destroyed with your weapons.

These glowing cracked walls can appear in many places, and can even be found on floors and ceilings, but in order to open them, you’ll likely need two things: an explosive, and the means to throw and detonate them.

In some cases, you may find such a glowing cracked wall near an explosive object – which can be a red barrel, or a pulsing purple sac that can explode if you draw too close. By firing your bow at these objects near the walls, and they’ll open up for you.

However, for cracked and glowing walls with no explosives around, you’ll need to find and store them using a certain Time Power: The Dimensional Claw.

You’ll gain this Time Power as part of the Main Quest: Path to the Sand Prison, which is found by adventuring up through the Sunken Harbor and into the corrupted Soma Tree. After you defeat the Forest Queen, you’ll gain a new ability that allows you to store enemies, projectiles, and explosive items in a pocket dimension to expel at will.

With this new ability, locate a explosive purple sac in places like the Soma Tree or Sunken Harbor, or find red explosive barrels in areas like the Lower Cit and Upper City, and use the Dimensional Claw to store them.

Next, find a Glowing Cracked Wall and release the stored explosive to throw it, and you’ll destroy the wall and open up new paths!
