Hi guys, I am trying to process aerial map image that includes any polygon good shaped. I want to get shape coordinates from the aerial image.
Here is sample of my case. The original image is :
This is my goal. I am trying to get Red polygon line’s coordinates:
Background
- We have coordinate of the center of weight. We can have a colors [or pattern] using this coordinate.
Analysis goals
- How can I get good shape from the image ?
Challenges
- Can shadows on the image be removed by any good shape maker or something like that? If no, can I get hole shape that is visible ?
- I did create below images using [Ercode], [Median], [Fill Holes] and [Noise → Remove Outliers] processes of the Fiji software:
But it is not enough to get polygon coordinates. What would you recommend me if I use Fiji software ?

I think automatic thresholding will be very difficult, but manual use of the point tool or the polygon tool and measure the center should be easy.
