Hi, I’m trying to create a menu that generates a sound for a character based on menu options. I can make the menu work in so far as clicking each button creates the correct next option in text. What I can’t work out is how to link that to the metasound arrays.

I’ve attached a couple of images.

The player should select the various options and then hit the generate button, at which point the options will select the various metasounds.

Fighter has it’s own Metasound. Each character type has it’s own metasound.

The Energy menu has three options High, Med and Low. The Energy metasound has three arrays that need to map to the High, Med and Low selection in the menu.

When the generate button is clicked it needs to trigger the various options and the audio plays. I can create a button that triggers a metasound no problem. I just can’t work out how to link the various metasounds to the options and that grouping of options to the generate button.

I originally built this following a How to build a Main Menu Vid and it’s Options menu follow up. In those vids the instructions are for UI settings so there are specific params for that. I’d imagine there will be for this I just don’t have the experience to know how to do this yet.

I’m still new to Unreal. Any help would be really great as I’m bashing my head against the wall with this one.

Thanks in advance
