REDDING, CALIF. — Multiple funds have been set up for the families of the two kids killed in an accident near Shasta Dam on Thursday.
Fundraisers have been set up for both the Jorgenson and Moore family following the tragedy. Northstate Crossfit, located at 3530 Railroad Avenue in Redding is currently collecting donations for the Jorgenson family. People can donate money or home-cooked meals to the family through this Meal Train link. Donations will be accepted until 5 p.m. every day, according to the Meal Train page.
The Police Officers Resource Association of California (PORAC) has also established a fund for the family of Ryker Moore whose father, Brian Moore, is a Redding Police Corporal. The fund has a goal of $25,000 for the family. Redding Police say all money donated to the campaign will go directly to the Moore family.
