Where the Heart Shot Weak Point is
Every animal, prey or predator, has two weak points: one on their head and the other at their heart. The heart weak point is at a small place in their chest that can be difficult to hit. Your best bet is to aim at the shoulder blade of their front legs.
How to Get a Heart Shot
Heart shots, unlike headshots, can only be achieved with a ranged weapon, but they deal substantially more damage. To maximize the damage you deal with a heart shot, bring a weapon with increased critical damage, such as a Chassepot Rifle built with the Forge Card active.
