I used Fiji Labkit to make a mask of my image to help me identify specific cells of interest. I then used the analyze particles function to help me create ROIs of the cells from the mask. I checked the show all and labels so that it showed me where the ROIs were in the image and which one was which.
Now, I want to create and add my own ROIs to my image (so I will have the ROI generated from analyzing particles and my hand-drawn ROIs). I am hand-drawing ROI using the Freehand selection and clicking d on my keyboard to draw my new ROI. How do I add a number to my hand-drawn ROI? I would like the numbers to be added to my image so I can easily determine which one is which. The ROIs generated by analyzing particles have number labels so it is easy to identify which ROI is which.

After drawing the ROI press t on the keyboard. This runs >Edit >Selection >Add to Manager
