I work as an Educational Technologist to support faculty with various learning tools; mostly Canvas. I had an instructor tell me that they had their students take a Classic Quiz with 7 questions and required them to only answer 6 questions for full points. Students could choose to omit whichever one question they chose.
What is the best way for the instructor to grade this? Is there a way to omit a quiz question that changes in each individual submission?
Additionally, does anyone have advice for how to set up a quiz to only grade based on the questions answered? (Ignoring the questions unanswered)
