Resolution
Troubleshooting often requires clearing browser cache and cookies. Follow the steps below for the browser you use.
Clearing cache and cookies in Internet Explorer 8*
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Open Safety menu, located near the top of the browser.
- Click Delete Browsing History.
- Select Temporary Internet files and Cookies.
Note All other boxes may remain unchecked, according to your preference. - Click the Delete button to delete your cache and cookies.
Clearing cache and cookies in Internet Explorer 9*
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click the gear icon in the top right-hand corner to open up the Tools menu.
- Select Safety > Delete Browsing History.
- Select Temporary Internet files and Cookies.
Note All other boxes may remain unchecked, according to your preference. - Click the Delete button to delete your cache and cookies.
Clearing cache and cookies in Edge*
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three dots (…) in the upper-right corner.
- Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
- Check the boxes for cookies and cache, then click Clear now.
Clearing cache and cookies in Mozilla Firefox*
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- Open the Menu in the top right-hand corner.
- Select Options > Privacy and click Delete or Clear Recent History.
- Select Everything as the time range, then click details to select what you would like to delete.
Note Make sure you select Cookies and Cache. All other boxes may remain unchecked according to your preference. - Click the Clear Now button to delete your cache and cookies.
Clearing cache and cookies in Google Chrome*
- Open Google Chrome.
- Open the Menu in the top right-hand corner.
- Select More Tools > Privacy and click Clear Browsing Data.
- Make sure you select Cookies and Cache.
Note All other boxes may remain unchecked according to your preference. - Click Clear browsing data to delete your cache and cookies.
Clearing cache and cookies in Apple Safari*
- Open Apple Safari.
- Open the Menu in the top right-hand corner and select Preferences.
- Select Advanced.
- Check the Show Develop Menu in menu bar box.
- You now have the Develop Menu available.
- Select Empty Caches from the Develop Menu.
