How to watch Sha’Carri Richardson live at Suzhou/ Shanghai Diamond League 2024

After a disappointing loss at the Xiamen Diamond League, Sha’Carri Richardson returns to the starting blocks of the 200m at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre on Saturday 27 April.

The American track star finished second after a surprise defeat to Australian teenager Torrie Lewis in an event where she had earned bronze at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.

The reigning 100m world champion knew exactly what she needs to fix after her season-opening loss, admitting that the late start to the season left her “a little nervous.”

“I felt really good with this first performance. I know what I’ve got to work on,” she said.

The weekend’s Suzhou/ Shanghai Diamond League 2024 will only be her third meet this year after racing a relay leg in Florida at the end of March.

The 24-year-old will be up against fellow 4x100m relay world champion Tamara Clark, who shares her 200m personal best of 21.92, and Tokyo 2020 Olympian Anavia Battle.

Other notable competitors include the reigning 60m world indoor champion, Swiss Mujinga Kambundji, and Bahamas’ 2012 world junior champion, Anthonique Strachan.
