How to migrate content from Fabric Trial to paid F…

Hi,

I’ve been using the Fabric trial to run through the awesome Microsoft Learn content. Looks like they’re finally ending my trial. But I’d like to find a way to keep the content from the exercises, and have the ability to experiment/keep my skills fresh. So I guess that means setting up a pay as you go Fabric capacity.

I’m confused on how to get everything migrated from that trial subscription to a new (paid) Fabric capacity I created in my Azure tenant.

I followed the guidance here to move some existing workspaces to the new capacity.
https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Data-Engineering/Migrating-workspace-from-trial-to-fabric-…

But when I go to https://app.fabric.microsoft.com and pick the account I want to sign in with, I don’t get prompted to select a capacity – which is what I’d expect to see, since that user now has access to multiple capacities.

In the bar at the top of the screen, I still see the “Trial:xx days” reference – which makes me think I’m not looking at the right resource. So I can’t confirm that the content has actually been moved.

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction on getting all of my content migrated off the Fabric Trial resource and to my new paid Fabric resource?

I believe I still need to go figure out PBI licensing so that I’ll be able to use more capabilities than with a Free license, but that’s a problem for a different day 😋

Thanks.
