The moment fans of The Chosen have been eagerly waiting for is finally here. The anticipated fourth season of The Chosen — initially released in movie theaters earlier this year — will start streaming in June. Find out what to know about The Chosen Season 4 release schedule and how to watch below.
“The wait is finally over,” said The Chosen creator Dallas Jenkins in a May 29th livestream announcing the release date on the show’s YouTube page. “The response from those who’ve seen season four in theaters was that this is our best season, so I can’t wait to deliver these episodes free and easy to the world.”
He continued, “We wanted to offer fans a chance to see it on the big screen together in theaters. But I’ve maintained the show will always ultimately be available free and easy, and we’re now ready for our livestreams, which are going to be bonkers this year.”
When Is The Chosen Season 4 Streaming?
The Chosen — “Clean, Part 1”
The first episode of The Chosen Season 4 will be released as a livestream on The Chosen’s social media pages and The Chosen App on Sunday, June 2, at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the second episode on Thursday, June 6 at 8:30 p.m ET. New episodes will released on Sundays and Thursdays over four weeks.

How To Watch The Chosen Season 4
The Chosen — “Physician, Heal Yourself”
There are currently only three ways to watch The Chosen Season 4. The first is via livestream, which is available for a limited time, the second is on The Chosen App, and the third is on DVD. After the livestream airs, episodes will be available exclusively on The Chosen App.
“To be clear, if you want to watch The Chosen season four over the next month, you either need to watch our livestreams, watch it via streaming on The Chosen App, or order our Season 4 DVD in our gift store, which will allow you to binge all eight episodes at once,” Jenkins announced in Wednesday’s Youtube livestream.
Season 4 of The Chosen initially debuted in theaters in February and March. The Christian series received an extended theatrical release at a discounted rate before the Easter holiday amid pending legal issues that prevented the series from being released on streaming.
“Clashing kingdoms. Rival rulers. The enemies of Jesus close in while His followers struggle to keep up, leaving Him to carry the burden alone,” the description for Season 4 reads. “Threatened by the reality of Jesus’ growing influence, religious leaders do the unthinkable — ally with their Roman oppressors. As the seeds of betrayal are planted and opposition to Jesus’ message turns violent, He’s left with no alternative but demand his followers rise up.”
Jenkins created, directed, and co-wrote The Chosen, which premiered its first season in December 2017. Set in Judaea and Galilee in the 1st century, the series follows the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth and centers on the people who met and interacted with him. Jonathan Roumie plays Jesus Christ, while Shahar Isaac, Elizabeth Tabish, Paras Patel, Noah James, George H. Xanthis, and others also star.
