Hi folks,

I have a question and atm I don’t know where to get an answer for my question.

I am using Postman on MacOS Sonoma.

I was used to collect in Postman certain API swagger files and do calls with the help of it. However due to the fact I needed to deal with some other tasks like more than a year, I simply didn’t use the application.

Then I started again and now there is the force to have Cloud login.
And it seems all my local collections are gone that I had without using a Cloud login back then.

Anyone knowing if there is any chance there collections might be laying around still locally in a directory?

Where would be the place to look for those probably.

Because I don’t want to use the application before I ensured these still exist.

Thanks a lot

André

Hi @lettavian. Welcome to the Postman Community!

Scratchpad has been deprecated in Postman. However, you can access all of your scratchpad data by following these steps:

  1. Select the settings icon Settings icon in the header and select Settings.
  2. Select the Data tab, then select Migrate Data.
  3. Select the workspace where you want to migrate your data and select Move Data. You can also create a new personal workspace for your data.

All of your collections, environments, and history are copied from the Scratch Pad to the workspace you selected.

Additionally, you can continue to send request offline using the lightweight API client.

Thanks a lot. That helped. A lot appreciated.
