PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — Dollywood’s Splash Country is offering free admission for some visitors on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Here’s what you need to know to get the deal.
The free admission is being offered for those participating in Water Safety Day presented by Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen, which will feature the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ Thursday morning.
The event does require registration for the each person who will be attending event through Eventbrite. Once registration is complete, participants in the event will need to check-in between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. for guests to have time to head to Mountain Waves for the “World’s Largest Swim Lesson” from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Dollywood does state that participating guests will need to be checked in by 9:30 a.m. to receive admission, and those who may miss check-in will are not guaranteed free admission to the park.
Once the lesson is complete, Dollywood said guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the park for the remainder of the day.
The offer is quite a markdown, especially for those thinking of taking the whole family, although there will still be a fee to park. A standard ticket for one day admission into Dollywood’s Splash Country for those ages 10 to 61 costs $54.95.
