The Hawks are on the clock for the 2024 NBA Draft.
And Illinois may soon have its first first-round NBA Draft pick since Meyers Leonard in 2012.
Terrence Shannon Jr. is widely expected to be picked sometime in the first round, likely toward the final few picks, which could mean a great opportunity for him to contribute immediately to a winning team.
This year, the draft will take place over two days: Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27.
Coverage of the first round starts Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN, with the draft beginning at the top of the hour on ESPN, ABC, and ESPN+.
Coverage of the second round will start Thursday at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN.
