“House of the Dragon” Season 2 has almost come to an end with Episode 7 airing tonight.

“House of the Dragon” Episode 6 saw some romantic relationships blossoming, a king recovering and a war continuing on.

Based on the trailer, it seems like Episode 7 will cover Daemon Targaryen dealing with things in the Riverlands, Alicent’s sadness after being “fired” by her son and Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen recruiting dragonriders to join her in taking back the throne.

“House of the Dragon” is a prequel to the HBO series “Game of Thrones.”

The show covers a battle between Team Green and Team Black for the throne. Team Green comprises Alicent, Ser Criston Cole and the Hightowers – a prominent family in the kingdom’s politics – and Team Black, which consists of the “rightful” Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, her sons and uncle-turned-husband Daemon.

When does ‘House of the Dragon’ take place?

“House of the Dragon” takes place about 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Stormborn and the death of her father the Mad King Aerys. Aerys is the last Targaryen to sit on the Iron Throne before “Game of Thrones” begins.
