Abstract

Hip disarticulation is a salvage procedure for several hip and pelvic pathologies including recalcitrant pressure sores and pelvic soft tissue and bone neoplasms. This ‘How I do it’ article provides a detailed technique for hip disarticulation utilizing an anteromedial thigh myocutaneous flap.
