With several sides fighting for their lives to stay in this season’s UEFA Champions League, there is still so much to play for.

There are just two rounds of league phase fixtures remaining, and spots in both the round of 16 and the playoffs are up for grabs.

Premier League champions Manchester City and Ligue 1 kings Paris Saint-Germain were two of the favourites to go far in the tournament at the start of the campaign, but are scratching and clawing to keep their hopes alive with two matches remaining.

The two clubs will collide on Wednesday night – live on TNT Sports and discovery+ – with City in 22nd place in the table and PSG outside the playoff spots in 25th.

City endured a dismal run of just one win in 13 games across all competitions at the end of 2024, but appear to have awoken from their slumber.

PSG have not lost since the end of November and sit nine points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table, so should be full of confidence for the visit of City.

With both sides desperate for points, here are all the details on how you can catch the action.

How things stand

City won the 2023 Champions League final to complete a historic treble, but they could fall at the first hurdle just 20 months on if they don’t win their final two matches of the league phase.

They are right on the edge of playoff qualification in 24th place as things stand.

If they defeat PSG, they will take a huge step closer to a playoff spot, while the French champions’ hopes will be hanging by a thread.

PSG will leapfrog their English rivals in the table with a victory at the Parc des Princes, and send both clubs’ battle for a playoff place to the final round.

When is PSG v Manchester City?

Manchester City will travel to the Parc des Princes to take on PSG in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, January 22.

Kick-off is 20:00 UK time, with live coverage on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate commencing at 19:00.
