Which events will Lindsey Vonn compete in at Winter Olympics?
Before sustaining a torn ACL in her crash in Crans Montana, Switzerland, Vonn was expected to compete in the women’s downhill, women’s super-G and women’s team combined at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Now, her schedule may look different.
“My goal is, obviously, right now the downhill,” she told reporters on Feb. 3. “I have to see how my knee feels. If it’s stable and I feel confident, I’ll continue to race. That is my goal, obviously.”
When asked if she plans to start in the super-G and team combined, Vonn stated:
“I don’t know yet. I have to take it day by day… I can’t tell you that answer until I actually ski 85 miles an hour. Then I can say.”
