Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever open their 2026 campaign with the first of three preseason games on Saturday, April 25.
The Fever had a busy offseason after a 24–20 finish in the 2025 regular season and a run to the playoff semifinals, much of which came without star guard Clark. Indiana bolstered its roster by drafting guards Raven Johnson, Justine Pissott and Jessica Timmons, while also re-signing key players such as Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull.
Before the regular season begins May 8, fans can first see Clark and the Fever in action against the New York Liberty on Saturday. Here’s what to know and how to watch Clark play.
Where to watch Caitlin Clark in the Indiana Fever’s preseason game against the New York Liberty
Tipoff is at 2 p.m. CT, and fans can watch it live on ION or on next-day replay via the WNBA League Pass. The game is being played at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Indiana went 1–3 against the Liberty and 3–1 against the Wings in the 2025 regular season. The team’s preseason games on April 30 and May 2 will be held at the Fever’s home arena, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, in Indianapolis. Caitlin Clark back to 100% after injury-riddled 2025 season
Clark returned to competitive basketball with Team USA in March after not playing in a game since July 15, 2025, when she strained her right groin in Boston against the Connecticut Sun. The ailment marked the fourth separate muscle injury Clark endured during the 2025 season after not missing a single game during her entire college career or WNBA Rookie of the Year campaign.
After being sidelined for more than a month with the injury, the Fever officially ruled her out for the remainder of the regular season and the postseason on Sept. 4. She averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals across 13 games.
