Household Bins
The City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services provides all qualifying single-family households with one complimentary yard waste, recycling, and garbage bin.
If a home does not have existing bins, request your 95-gallon roll bins when you City water service.
Request Repair or Replacement
If your bin is no longer functional, contact the Customer Care Center at 919-996-3245 to request repairs or replacement.
*Please note, replacement carts may be gently used.
Order a Second Yard Waste Bin
Contact the Customer Support Center at 919-996-3245 to place your order for a second bin.
Adding a second yard waste bin increases your capacity to 190 gallons of bin space! With two bins, you can still put out up to 15 biodegradable bags and up to five bundles of sticks at the curb for collection. A second yard waste cart will require a one-time fee and an additional monthly fee of $2 on your bill.

Households can purchase one additional trash bin for a one-time fee. To order, call the Customer Care Center at 919-996-3245.
