The 72nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant is set to take place in El Salvador on November 18, hosted at the National Gymnasium Jose Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador.
The event will be livestreamed at 20:00 ET, with the United States being represented by Noelia Voigt, a young contestant of Venezuelan-American descent.

Participants can vote through the official website or the Miss Universe app, with options for free and paid voting packs available. Only valid votes complying with the rules will be counted, and any attempt to tamper with the process may result in disqualification.
The pageant organizers, JKN Universe, LLC, and Choicely Oy, have announced that they reserve the right to make changes to the Voting Rules and Procedures.
The eligibility for voting includes individuals worldwide aged 14 or older, except those residing in territories designated as restricted or under trade sanctions by the United States or the United Nations. The Best Costume competition will have a separate voting period announced later.
Participants are warned by the organizers against tampering with the voting process, and any deliberate attempt to damage online services or undermine the voting’s legitimate operation may result in legal consequences.
By participating, individuals agree to release the Released Parties from claims and liability arising from their involvement in the voting process.
How to vote
Fans of the Miss Universe competition can vote for their favorite contestant to advance to the semifinals by visiting the MissUniverse.com website or using the official competition app on Android and Apple devices.
However, voting is not free, and each vote comes with a cost. Voting packages are available, starting from one dollar for three votes and going up to $199.99 for one thousand votes.
“You may vote once per contest (on the android and ios application) by pressing on the yellow star for free by pressing on the green star on the image of your chosen candidate, after which you may cast additional votes with no limit by pressing on the gold star on the image of your chosen candidate and selecting the voting pack of your choice for purchase using mobile operator and/or credit card billing, depending on your country,” the Miss Universe official website reads.
