Northwest fruit growers can learn how to fix plastic bins at upcoming classes

Plastic industrial bin manufacturer IPL Macro Plastics will hold three free bin repair classes in the Northwest during the first week of April.

A representative from Leister Technologies will lead the courses, which will cover patching cracks or holes using hot-air tools for welding plastic, replacing feet and skids, and diagnosing which bins are repairable.

Classes will be at 10 a.m. on April 2 at Stemilt Growers in Wenatchee, Washington; 10 a.m. on April 3 at the IPL Macro Plastics warehouse in Union Gap, Washington; and 10 a.m. on April 4 at Duckwall Fruit in Hood River, Oregon.
