Does Anybody Know how to use the PATWORK TOOL in maps to connect wires? – Community & Industry Discussion

Hi everyone. So i was watching this horror map playthrough and I came across this map that uses the patchtool to connect cables and activate the power so door etc.
does anyone know how to make it work?
