“Seasonal florals are a subtle but effective shift—branches, dried arrangements, or greenery with deeper tones help bring in that autumnal feel,” Wayne shares. Adding a “wood tray on the nightstand can also make the space feel grounded and intentional,” he adds.
Guyton’s guidance is to add personal elements that give you the warm and fuzzies, like more framed family photos. “As someone that experiences seasonal blues in the colder and darker months, sentimental and light-hearted touches help boost your mood, lift your spirit, and excite your senses while inside,” she says.
