OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (WOWT) – Nebraska softball qualified for the Women’s College World Series after sweeping Oklahoma State in the Lincoln Super Regional.
It marks the No. 4-seeded Huskers’ first berth since 2013 and they draw No. 5 Arkansas to start their run to a national championship.
Nebraska scored 17 runs in two super regional games, while allowing just two in 8-1 and 9-1 victories.
This marks the program’s eighth appearance at the event, which will be played from May 28 through June 5 at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Schedule information for the opening games of the WCWS was released Sunday by the NCAA.
